Dunlop House : Private housing

Fact Box
Client Laurel Homes
Value £2.2m
Description

This truly unique project consists of restoring a Category A listed building into 9 individual luxurious apartments. This project required significant restoration works throughout the build.

The house was designed in 1831 and built between then and 1834 at the end of the Georgian era. Through the following years this building fell into disuse and it was listed as a Category A building by Historic Scotland, and in 2014 Laurel Homes and McTaggart Construction began the task of restoring the house and estate to its original splendour.

Our Laurel Homes Development at Dunlop Manor was awarded Renovation of the Year at the Scottish Property Awards. Dunlop Manor was shortlisted for three separate awards and faced strong competition in each of the categories but won in the strongly contested category of Renovation of the Year.
