Overview
Providing a mix of layouts to suit the needs of local community
McTaggart delivered eleven new affordable homes for Rural Stirling Housing Association at Lampson Court, Killearn, a rural development set on the edge of open farmland on the outskirts of a Stirlingshire village. The scheme brings together a detached bungalow, two semi-detached houses, and eight cottage flats in a genuine mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts suited to the needs of the local community.
Despite its modest scale, the project achieved Gold Regulation 7 standard, Secured by Design accreditation, and full Housing for Varying Needs compliance, the same quality benchmarks McTaggart applies to every project, regardless of size.
