Our Darnick Street project has been Highly Commended in the Social Housing Scheme category at the Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards, held in London on Friday 25 September.
The Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards recognise quality and high standards of construction across the UK. To be Highly Commended among such a strong field is something the whole business is proud of.
About Darnick Street
Darnick Street in Royston, Glasgow, delivered 136 affordable homes, made up of 50 flats and 86 houses. We built the development in partnership with Swan Group and Thriving Investments.
The homes help meet local housing need and support the ongoing regeneration of Royston. Built using timber frame construction, the development gives families a quality, stable place to call home.
We also created a travel plan and residents’ pack for every new tenant, based on the idea of a 20-minute neighbourhood. It helps residents find local services, shops, transport links, walking and cycling routes, all within a short trip from their front door.
A team effort
This recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of everyone involved in Darnick Street, from our site and office teams to our partners and client. Each played a part in delivering quality new homes for the community.
