McTaggart Construction’s Howwood Road development in Renfrewshire has welcomed Rhys Colton on a two-week work placement, hosted by ABN Electrical & Plumbing, part of McTaggart Group.
Rhys was introduced to us through Invest in Renfrewshire, and is using the placement to support his college studies with hands-on, real-world experience on an active construction site.
What makes Rhys’s placement extra special is that he lives right in the local area, and will soon be moving into a brand new home at our Johnstone Castle development, built by McTaggart Construction with electrical and plumbing works carried out by ABN. So while he’s out here learning the trade, he’s also getting a first-hand look at the kind of quality workmanship that will soon be going into his own home – a nice full-circle moment for a placement so close to home.
