At McTaggart, we believe that creating opportunities, supporting communities and helping people take their first or next step into employment is just as much a part of our job as building homes.
The past 12 months in numbers
Working alongside our supply chain partners and employability providers across Scotland, over the past year we have:
- Delivered 105 work placements
- Created 39 new jobs
- Worked with 38 employability partners across Scotland
These partnerships are crucial in helping people access meaningful opportunities, with 1 in 4 work placements progressing into employment.
Why wraparound support matters
We know that success often requires more than simply providing a placement. That’s why we work with our partners to offer tailored support, helping individuals overcome barriers and realise their potential.
A placement can be the start of something much bigger, but only if people have the right support around them to make the most of it. That’s the approach we take with every partner we work with, and it’s why these numbers matter to us beyond the statistics themselves.
